My name is Tiffany Mease and this is my 3rd year teaching. I spent my first two years teaching as a Reading Teacher in the Title I program here at Boiling Springs Elementary. I am excited about this opportunity to teach in a classroom of my own. I love working with children. They have had such a powerful influence on my life and I look forward to the impact of my students this year.
A little more about Ms. Mease...
I grew up here in Cleveland County. I graduated from Burns High School and went on to get my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!). I was fortunate enough to be a part of the NC Teaching Fellows program there. This provided many opportunities to work with students and volunteer in the community. I enjoyed my time in Boone so much and love going back to visit often.
I love to be outdoors, especially when the sun is out. I enjoy hiking, fishing and jogging the best. Also, being that I was a Reading teacher, I love to read. Mo Willems is my favorite author/illustrator for children's books. He write such humorous and entertaining stories. My favorite is Knuffle Bunny. Reading is so important and I believe it is better for the individual if we catch problems early. I will be working hard to make sure each student develops confidence and a love of reading.
